Miley Cryus tutorial #2

---->

-no selecitve coloring

1. duplicate base and set it to screen if needed.

2. new channel mixer layer

red; +128, -40, +12
blue; -55, +55, +114

3. new hue/saturation layer

master; -9, +12, +4
reds; +18, +32, -6

4. new color fill layer/raster layer. fill with #D4EDF4, set to color burn/burn

5. new color balance layer

midtones; +17, +25, +26
shadows; -24, -34, -13
highlights; -25, +9, +29

6. (you don't need this step, i just thought it looked nice) paste

(not sure who made it, if its yours let me know and i'll credit)as a new layer and set it to darken, 100%

I tried this tutorial with the icon you had already made and I came out with a slightly different outcome [I didn't do the screen layer, btw, and either way it isn't the same]. It's still nice, though.

i see what i did wrong, midtones; +17, +25, -26 the -26 should be +26 i'll edit it to say that in the tutorial. sorry about that

I didn't do the texture, because when I did it distorted his face and even though Mark is an extreme attractive man he just couldn't pull it off.

aha, yes the texture doeesn't seem to work too well on pic more focused on people's faces, i dont know why

I'm going to sound like a total newb but;
how does this 4. new color fill layer/raster layer. fill with #D4EDF4, set to color burn/burn work? Please like message me or something. I made an account just to ask; I really want to use this coloring it's amazing :]
